DIGITAL READY
1. QUARKXPRESS 7 documents saved in QuarkXpress 7 for Macintosh only. Include all files and fonts. All supporting art and fonts must be provided, even art placed inside another file.
2. ILLUSTRATOR CS2 documents/ads should be saved as EPS files. Customs PMS colors should be saved as CMYK.
3. PHOTOSHOP images must be saved as TIFF or EPS. Mode must be CMYK not RGB. Resolutions should be adjusted for 25% web press gain.
4. ACROBAT when saving files as PDF - make sure all artwork is included and the fonts are embedded. PDF files should be saved as press optimized, high-resolution CMYK with no OPI.
5. TEXT FILES should be submitted on disk as a txt or doc file with hard copy print out.
ABOUT PLACED ART
Any art placed in the document should be saved in either TIFF, EPS or PDF format.
JPEG, PICT, CT etc is NOT acceptable. 4-color art should be saved in CMYK mode only. RGB, Indexed Color, Duotone, etc., is NOT acceptable (anything other than CMYK will print as grayscale). Line art should be saved at 600 DPI. Images with lower resolution will be rejected. Images from web sites are 72 DPI and should NOT be scaled to 300 DPI due to excessive quality deterioration. These images will be rejected.
NON-DIGITAL READY
TravelHost of Charleston will produce the first ad at no charge, only minimal changes will be allowed without incurring additional charges.
